Heavy Duty Construction. Built to endure, the main body of this windshield frame cover is constructed from heavy-duty, high-tensile 11-gauge (1/8 inch) steel. Its tough exterior is not only visually striking but also features a textured black powder coat finish. Internally fortified with a premium E-coating process, it guarantees superior corrosion resistance. Meticulous construction and tough materials make this windshield frame cover stand out, ready to face off-road challenges head-on.
Simple Bolt-on Installation. There is no drilling required. First, install the brackets around the cowl area. Second, assemble the other parts to be a set of Windshield Frame Cover, place it around the windshield, and connect it with the brackets. Then adjust the position of the product carefully. At last, tighten all the bolts. Some basic hand tools are needed. It takes about 1.5 hours to complete the installation.

The fitment is very good. The assembly and install are easy. The bumper is very stout, heavy gauge steel that will offer maximum protection and a clean approach. It was a chore to squeeze my winch in behind it, but I managed.
THe windshield frame is quality steel of a gauge that offers protection without adding a huge amount of weight to the vehicle. The product doesn't provide hangers or brackets for your wiring so you are on your own in that regard. I did some modifying to get my wiring tucked out of sight. A major design flaw with the product is the clearance for the door winges. The product is notched for the hinge, but not for door removal. This was an issue for me as I swap out full doors/ tube doors/ and half doors quite often. I solved this issue with a die grinder and some paint, but it was a shame that I had to cut into a new part. Just that slight design change of extending the notch for door removal clearance would make this product my favorite mod.
