Product bent upon delivery. Shipping and packing was not up to par. Return policy is crap!!! You have to open package to check for damages. Why should I be responsible for shipping charges when I did not cause these damages. Your company or choice or shipping did.

I’ve been extremely impressed with the Hooke Road Discovery Full-width Roof Rack on my Ford Bronco. The quality of the materials and construction is excellent, and once installed, the rack feels extremely solid and secure. It gives me exactly what I was looking for a dependable platform for my rooftop tent and camping gear.

The installation took some time, but the finished product was absolutely worth it. Everything fit well, and I’m very pleased with how it looks on the Bronco. After using it on camping trips, I can confidently say this rack is worth every penny.

Highly recommended for Bronco owners looking for a strong, functional, and great-looking full-width roof rack.

Took about two hours to install, pretty straightforward. Only thing I wish they had in the instructions was that you have to put the rack together inside the car. It may have been in the instructions that I didn’t see it, but it should be in large print with! After it, lol. Solid is a rock. Looks great very happy with it.

Let me start by saying that I am mechanically inclinded and that a second set of hands is highly recommended. Install is a bit...wonky. The paper template, while useful, doesnt exactly line up properly. Using a 2D layout on a 3D surface resulted in drilling the lower right hole off left of the target. I had to drill a second hole, so I'm a bit perturbed about that.
Tighten the bolts down lightly at first. Fully tightening will result in a slight contortion of the box frame, which causes a misalignment of the door, preventing it from closing.
The process for this remedy was tedious and took multiple adjustments to all bolts to mostly realign.
Once installed it seems solid, but durability is TBD because I just installed it on 9/21/26.
I would suggest applying some sort of non-slip lining/padding/cushioning to reduce sliding and rattling of contained items.
A $130 lox box to secure several hundred $$ in power tools is well worth it.
Will update this review should any further issues arise.

Works great looks pretty decent. Adds more storage and I think the assembly and install were pretty easy.

I have been very pleased with these fenders so far. Instructions were very detailed for the most part. The only suggestion I would have is to give more clarity as to where the edging goes on the inner fenders. Otherwise fit and finish is awesome! I’m definitely planning on acquiring more HookeRoad products!

I surfed around for a few hours looking at rack systems. I even toyed with a home-brew/DIY rack. There was nothing else that came close to this rack, from quality to price, stability, etc. At $119, you can't build your own this good. I will probably add a bit more protection on the bottom outer rail, where you'd set the door in first. It's not bad, but my OCD says it could offer more protection. Oh, yeah… I have two magnets with hooks inside to hold my mirrors when not in use. THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE RACK ASSEMBLY! I added them.

Great price and easy installation. Wish they made a rear bumper for 2nd gen 4Runners!

This thing is badass!!! Looks great on my 2018 JLU wrangler. Will do exactly what I need it to. Keeping sticks and branches off my windshield.

I absolutely love my running boards. Very great quality.

I will echo that the instructions, and organization of the different components could be done a little better. It took a while to separate everything, and piece it together, but once I figured it all out I think the rack is absolutely solid, and will last a long time. You can’t beat the bang for the buck with this one. I’m glad I went with this one!

These running boards look great on my Jeep Gladiator, I get a lot of complements on them. After having them on for only a couple of months the drivers side started showing signs of rust around several of the welds. I contacted Hooke and sent them a couple of pictures of the rust spots. They replaced the complete set of running boards without hesitation. It’s nice to deal with a company that stands behind there products. I would highly recommend them.

Overall, troduct quality seems to be really good. The installation wasn't too difficult for a one person job, two jack stands and a floor jack. The shortfalls from my perspective were: 1. Minimal instructions, could be improved on. No wiring instructions on the LEDs. 2. There should be a means incorporated for intermediate stop for the spare tire carrier. 3. There should be a 3rd Brake Light included in the package w/wiring w/ quick disconnect. 4. It also took some ingenuity to get the back up camera installed. All this should have been thought of in the design.

The bumper arrived in good shape and packaging was great. I took the bumper and sanded it down and paint matched it to my truck. Everything was good but i will say the ends could be out about a 1/2 on each side. It actually touches my body panels without any way to fix it.

Super happy with this purchase! They are of good quality and they were easy to install. The price was definitely good and the shipping was fast! They look great too! Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great looking, affordable running board/nerf bars! 5 stars for sure!

Had my ‘25 Big Bend blackout edition for a year before finding these rails. I was specifically looking for something that didn’t take away from the ground clearance and make my Bronco look dumpy and low. These really dress up the look! I like the clean line look, and the quality is great. My husband was impressed with the build. It took the two of us a total of 1 1/2 hours to install. The first side took longer, since we had to get the hang of what we were doing. The 2nd side only took 30 mins. I highly recommend. The stenciled “Since1966” is a nice touch. I’m nostalgic. When taking pictures, the sun shined through the stencil and displayed “1966” on the bottom rail brace. It’s the simple things.

Quick and easy to install very high-quality and look awesome while being very function

Of all the truck racks we looked at, this was my favorite in look and specifications. I bought it to put a RTT on my truck for a 7,000 mile road trip. And it performed beautifully!!

Installation was straightforward and a breeze. It took about 1.5 hours for 2 people to build. Once modifying the RTT brackets, we were able to firmly secured the RTT to the Hooke Road rack. 2 e-bikes, camping gear, and water toys fit underneath as well!

The only thing I would have liked different is the brackets securing the rack to the bed. I don't have rails inside the bed, but Hooke does send brackets for that. They ended up being completely secure, but they just don't "look" like they would be.

All in all, this is an amazing rack in it's price-point. And made it through 23 states, all weather but snow - a few flash floods, very high winds, and dust storm, and extreme heat - without a single issue. It held the RTT over all those miles and 2 adults sleeping in the RTT on top of the rack at night with ease.

If you're looking for a sturdy rack that looks great, this is your bed rack.

For reference, I put it on a Ram 1500 5'7" box.

I’ve had it installed a few weeks now. After a bit of adjusting and loading it down heavy, it’s surprisingly solid. I’ve rattled down washboard roads for hours. I’ve disrespected traffic circles and rail crossings. I’ve even backed into a pole. It’s got a bit of play in the hinge mechanism but not enough to contact the tailgate, even with a 33 mounted.

The only low profile roof rack I could find for TJ. Probably not suitable for a RT Tent but maybe. Went together easily except for my doing things backward twice in spite of the excellent instructions. Canadian pro tip: Order directly from Hooke Road and have it shipped to a cross border courier, pay that freight (less than $50 from Blaine Wa to Victoria airport), pay your own customs tariff/tax (also ~$50) and land this item for $500cdn final total. Much more affordable than that Jungle place ( >$1000).

The steps rails we ordered for my wife’s jeep shipped very quickly and were received within 2 business days. They were just what we imagined and are very happy after I installed them on our 2021 jeep wrangler.

i love it. installation was a breeZe, just needed some help lifting it up to install cause it’s so heavy. compared to the stock bumper it feels a lot better and looks a lot better too. Cutting the front bumper was my biggest concern but easy. I had some help attaching a switch for the light bar but nothing stressful. Worse part was my fog lights didn’t fit but they were very nice and helped me find a pair of jeep fog lights that worked perfectly :)

Very well made, I modified it slightly to fit with my soft top.. fits perfectly.. sturdy...
