The name "Hooke Road" is inspired by the rugged "Hooke Road" trail in the Helan Mountains, located at the border of Ningxia and Inner Mongolia in western China. This 100-square-kilometer area, known for its steep and desolate terrain, is rich with historic sites like the Han and Ming Great Wall and ancient beacon towers. It has become a popular filming location and, alongside the Rubicon Trail in the USA and Moab in Utah, is recognized as one of the world's top three off-road destinations.
