Heavy Duty Construction. These Suburban running boards feature 1.9'' diameter x 0.06'' thick steel tubing along with 1.5'' x 0.06'' steel tubing for added reinforcement. The side step is constructed from 11-gauge (1/8 inch) steel plate, while the mounting structure uses even heavier 9-gauge (5/32 inch) steel plate for maximum stability. To protect against rust, corrosion, and wear, the bars are finished with a textured black powder coat on the outside and a premium E-coating process on the inside, making them both rugged and weather-resistant.
