Constructed from durable 13-gauge (3/32") steel plate for both the cargo basket and mounting brackets, this tailgate rack is engineered for dependable strength and long-lasting durability. The entire assembly is protected with a textured black powder coat finish and a premium E-coating process inside, offering excellent resistance against rust, corrosion, and harsh outdoor conditions. Direct Bolt-On Installation. The Tailgate Basket features a straightforward bolt-on installation process. Start by removing the factory spare tire mount, then align the new rack with the factory holes on the tailgate hinge and spare tire location. This design eliminates the need for any drilling, cutting, or welding. With just basic hand tools, you can securely install the rack in a short amount of time.
