Hooke Road Universal Spare Tire Utility Basket Fits for 30" to 40" Tire

Just purchased and installed the spare tire utility basket on my ‘17 Sahara Unlimited with 34” tires.
Installation:
When it says best to use two people, do so. It comes together easily enough, but once you install it, you really need two people to balance it well enough to tighten it all down evenly. Once on, it’s good to go.
Function:
I loaded about 60lb of luggage on the rack. Drive 1500 miles from Gulf South to Blue Ridge Mtns. Drive in heavy rain up. Drove Deals Gap (Dragons Tail) for those not familiar, 318 curves in 11 miles at elevation up and down. Then drove off-road. Then back to the Gulf South.
Rack didn’t budge. Held everything tight. Very happy with it.
I did have a wee bit of trouble With the Rotax 2 gallon cans fitting on but that’s an adjustment and got them on.
Overall, a bit of a pain getting it on but once on, worked great. And I put it through some torture. I’m very happy with it.

I just installed the utility basket and so far it’s pretty solid and secure. We added 2 gallon RotopaX on each side and the fit is on point.

Great rack for added carrying capacity! Stays put and rides solid with the straps. Get a cable pad lock to secure this to your tire otherwise a razor knife and two cuts and its gone!

I’ve been wanting this type of product for some time but the prices elsewhere were insane! Then I found Hooke Road and I grabbed it. I’m so glad I did! Install was easy, the item is high quality, packaging was amazing, and after off-roading with it on today I’m beyond satisfied! I have my Jerry can ordered (my last mount ruined it) and I can’t wait to add that and a water can! Highly recommend!
