Needed new steps as mine were severely rusted out found these and glad I got them they look great and very easy to install they were packed with great care even had wood inside package to keep box from collapsing and damaging steps

The Hooke Road Tube Side Steps Running Boards w/"SINCE 1941" Logo look awesome on my Willys. The install was very straightforward and only took me 1.5 hours to do by myself. The only thing I’d change with the mounting hardware is adding some washers with body mounting bolts. I ended up using my existing bolts when I removed the factory installed sill guards. Regardless this product is solid and very well built. I’d recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade their ride.

Fits 06 f150 lariat. Was worried since the upper bumper is flimsy now without the support from oem bumper, but the hood release latch does is not affected. Hood remains secured.

They look great on my 2013 Sahara!

I ordered the sides and front cab molle panels. Install took about 90 minutes. Looks clean and sturdy.

I was shopping around for side steps to replace my factory rock sliders forever, finally pulled the trigger on these and I’m super happy with them. I love the look and the build quality, and the install was easy. Pro tip, for a solo install use your jack. Great bang for your buck.

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews. However, with this product, I initially had low expectation for a budget price product. However, after receiving them and installing them on my Toyota Tacoma TRD Pre-Runner, I am completely satisfied with the fit, finish and design of these rock sliders. Furthermore, great for light off-road use, however, would not consider them to be strong enough for serious rock crawling.

I have 4th Gen 4Runner and let me tell you that I took me so much time researching all the different ladders. The different costs. The difficulty level for the installation. I will say hands-down that the cost for this in particular item and how easy it was to install had me flabbergasted! I am SOOOOOO HAPPY! Now I just need to order the interior Molle panel and rack combo.

Easy install, wiring is fairly simple too. Sturdy. They feel tough. Also got the matching side by sides. Would love some window stickers etc for the truck to show them off even more. But it definitely looks and feels mean now!

It’s a great quality product, looks clean installation and was simple, I was unable to re-use factory bumper bolts but it was a small simple inconvenience. Overall I highly recommend

Hooke Road running boards look great on my Jeep Gladiator Mojave X. Directions were a little vague, I went to YouTube and found a video showing installation instructions, after that it was a piece of cake. Had both sides done within an hour.

I know these molle panels were designed to work with the Hooke Road rack, but at the time I bought my rack from a different brand, I was new to Toyota and didn’t know about Hooke Road products. Considering the price for a pair of panels was almost half what the other guys were charging for a single panel, I thought it was worth trying. The panels are sturdy and will definitely support the weight of something like a Rotopax fuel tank or traction boards. They’re finished well without any burrs or sharp edges, and the coating looks solid as well. Now again, I don’t have a Hooke Road rack but that’s nothing a drill and some careful measuring can’t fix. I recommend getting a fresh drill bit and using masking tape to mark where your holes will go. I also swapped the M8 metric button screws for stainless 5/16” button screws with washers and nylon lock nuts, just because the tools are already in my kit. I had purchased previously a hook and road bumper system. I've liked it then. I wanted the one with the step purchased. It was built wrong. Contacted the company. They sent me out another one. It is perfect. I do like the company and they are very good at responding with,, to correct mistakes

Okay here is my review. To start off I looked at many different options for my build. From the low end to the high priced kit, like CBI, C4 and custom orders.
As I worked out my priorities I found that Gears and Lockers were at the top of my list. This maters because that’s an $8,000 to $9,000 dollar price for 5.29 gears and ARB air Lockers. With that as my priority I need to save money where I could. I knew the $4,000 dollar for a top end bumper and swing out was not in my budget, so I started researching other options, This brings us to this review.
I found Hook Road and they had just the swing out I was looking for, in my budget with Jerry can carrier. So I made my order and was feeling good about my decision. Then I happened to mention to a couple guys at work about my order, they convinced me I had made a terrible mistake. I tried to cancel my order so I wouldn’t be the guy who bought something terrible. Too late to cancel the order. Hooke Road had super fast shipping! Well the two big boxes showed up In front of my house, I thought well crap, so I got a hand truck and put them in the garage.
I was kinda discouraged, so I left them there unopened for a couple weeks. I just didn’t want to deal with it. Well time passed and I got a little time, so I opened the boxes. To my surprise the packaging was very good, nothing loose or damaged.
As I removed the interior packaging I discovered nice looking kit, I thought wow. Good job Hooke Road.
So now I was excited for my build again. I stripped off my old bumper and installed the new one. After the bumper was installed I thought wow great job Hooke Road, on looks it was great. Then I began to install the swing out it went together like, almost easy. Once I had the swing on, I thought fantastic job Hooke Road, looks awesome. So I’m standing there looking at the new kit on old Blue I was kinda scratching my head going what am I missing, why the hate? Great value, good quality, works great, coating was good and looks fantastic. As I stood there looking at it I just started smiling to myself.
I owe Hooke Road an apology, this was an amazing pice of kit, thank you Hooke Road!
Follow up everything is holding up great, I have a “ 285-75 R 16 tire mounted on the back zero issue, the swing works perfectly.
A couple of points. 1 you will need to reuse your factory bumper brackets. 2 be very careful when putting the swing arm together lock tight your components.
The swing will be a little high for the lock until you add your tire weight.
The bumper came in on time, and on budget, very happy with this order.

I love the bumper but after wiring and testing before bolting it on, they all work great. I then bolted it on and the two driver side lights went out on me. I tried emailing the company but it won’t go through. So frustrated bc i was so excited to have this on and working. Is there an option to buy just the two LED lights? Ugh please help. [****]

I purchased this mid width front bumper for my 2021 jeep wrangler JL. It fits very well seems to be good quality came with all the bolts and hardware I like the width and the way it lets the winch sit low and not blocking the grill. Very satisfied with my choice and it looks great on my jeep. I’ll be purchasing a rear bumper soon.

It looks great after some extra work. The instruction could use some work. I highly recommend buying compression rivets. I bought a combo kit on Amazon that came with 5 sizes and the pressure rivet tool, because it’s near impossible to get the nuts on some of the bolts in places where the instructions tell you to unless you have very small hands, especially on the front fenders. Also, if your Gladiator did not already have LED turn signals, you will need a tazer mini or jscan to set the truck to run LEDs or you will get an error on your dash claiming that your blinkers are out every time your turn the Jeep on. Other than that, I recommend them.

Packaged well. Installation was easy for one person to do. Love the aggressive look it gives the Gladiator.

This is installed on the 2021 Ram 3500 Tradesman. I love the way the bumper looks, I have only had it installed for two weeks and have gotten so many compliments, I was on a job and had to drive down a hill and the bumper took a chunk out of a 4" tree and did not have any issues and I was able to just wipe off the marks so it has really good powder coating. I would totally give this ***** but there were so many installation issues. The directions for putting this thing together were non existent luckily I am pretty handy and could figure it out. The 7pin outlet would not fit I had to grind out some material off to make it fit it is also upside down so the protective door is on the bottom which means water could potentially get in. When I was installing the bumper I had to cut off 4 steel alignment pins for the factory bumper, the bumper does not sit flush with the frame of the truck because the factory tow system is to wide I had to improvise and make spacers to allow the bolts to hold in place correctly. The light for the license plate is very bright but the wiring connector does not connect directly to the truck so I had to fabricate a new plug that would. I was considering getting the front bumper as well but after dealing with the challenges of the rear bumper I am not sure.

Great product, would 10/10 recommend. The installation wasn’t hard at all. Came with no deficiencies. I’m really happy with the outcome especially considering the price I paid!!

This bumper is heavy duty and so worth the money. It’s definitely a two person job to install and some areas needed a little persuasion. Any snags we ran into were not a surprise after reading the reviews. I did buy the mounting brackets for extra strength. I LOVE the look and the quality is top notch.
